On-device behaviour

A confirmation surface, not a control panel — the physical PTT key stays the real interaction. Everything is operable by hardware keys; touch is an enhancement.

Identity is per-message

One active speaker is stamped on every PTT message (feeds tasking & accountability — "3pm check · Andy"). The avatar + name sit on the Ready screen so handoffs are obvious.

Talk cycle

Hold PTT → Listening (green, waveform) → release → Sent with a one-line interpretation and status, then back to Ready. Green = live & safe; coral = you & the PTT key.

Switch user

Tap your name+avatar tile (on-shift first) — or 4-digit PIN / NFC-badge / QR where supported. Session clears on switch, inactivity, or shift end, with a re-confirm after a long idle gap.

Incoming voice & alerts

Verblee can speak back — a clarification shows quick-reply chips (◄ ► + OK, or hold PTT to answer). Experience alerts take over the screen in coral so they can't be missed.

Offline is never a dead end

Messages queue on-device and send on reconnect — the screen reassures ("queued, will send") and never silently drops a message.

Try it: press the coral PTT key, use the D-pad + OK on the Switch user & Incoming screens, and the power key to return to Ready.
